Children's Sunday School - 9:30 Age 3 yrs - Grade 5  We offer Sunday School lessons for our preschoolers through fifth graders.  Please contact Connie Baker if you'd like to join a teaching team. 3yrs - Pre Kdg. Teachers: Lee Ann & Dick Shade,  Sarah Smith, Zac Leland  Room 106 Our preschool ministry meets in Room 106 and is a place where children ages 3-5 can learn about God’s Word in ways that they can understand. We have multiple teaching teams in this age group, all of whom have read and agreed to our Safe Place policy as well as filling out reference and personal information. We use a fun, interactive curriculum that engages kids in learning about Jesus as well as teaching them to interact/play with a group of their peers. We offer a Sunday school class at 9:30 a.m. and a Jr. Church option at 10:30 a.m. for all preschoolers. Kindergarden – meet in Room 201 Teachers:  Jen & Dave Sumption 1^st & 2nd Grades Teachers:  Connie & Bob Baker, Ferne Leamon - Room 202 Grades 3 - 5th Teachers: Missy Bennett, Holly Bertka, Dan Snyder Room 204 – Our Sunday school rooms in the Kid’s wing located in the Family Life Center might surprise you a little bit these days! We’ve just completed the redesign of our three kids’ classrooms to make them more fun and conducive to learning. Our classes are going to be divided in a new way this fall to match our new look- Kindergarten meets in Room 201, first and second graders in Room 202, and third through fifth graders in Room 204. We use curriculum that both challenges them to read and understand the Bible at an appropriate level. It also allows them to enjoy a variety of activities/games or perform skits for their class. We also have a focus on service as we challenge the kids to take on projects and activities that will help/serve others in our church. As always, classes are taught by dedicated church volunteers who are committed to the Safe Place policy that we adhere to. =========================================  Junior Church during the 10:30 hour Jr. Church is a time when children in kindergarten through second grade are invited to leave the 10:30 worship service to participate in a service that offers a Biblical message tailored specifically for them. These services are taught by teams from multiple generations, and we try to present the life of Jesus and many other stories from the Bible in a way that kids can really understand and interact with. Upcoming Activities  AWANA Kickoff- September 30^th. If you love kids and would like to Help with AWANA in any way this year please let Rob or Chris Henson know. There are two informational meetings scheduled for all AWANA volunteers on Sept. 16 and Sept. 23th from 6:30 – 8:30 pm in the fellowship hall.
